ELIMINARE______Il disegno delle architetture religiose su isola nei Balcani | The drawing of the religious architecture of the Island in the Balkans

The international research project related to the study, knowledge and enhancement to tourism impact of religious architecture on island in the Balkans involves a large group of Professors, Researchers, PhD students and Students of the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli and of the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Tirana in Albania. With regard to the research, issues relating to the disciplines of representation, the aforementioned group deals with the drawing of the architectural and vegetational heritage with particular reference to the issues concerning the territory and the individual architectural artifacts of a religious nature. The project proposes the study of the territory subdivided by geographical areas, from north to south, concentrating the analysis on religious architecture on island in Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece proposing its knowledge through the survey of places and structures. The theme identified is an important scientific and cultural issue able to confront both the issues related to the knowledge of places and architectures and the concept of protection and enhancement of heritage in order to carry out a critical analysis aimed at conservation and promotion of a cultural, architectural and landscape heritage of considerable interest and strong deterioration.
