Abstract
The research carried out during last thirty years into population dynamics, urban agglomerations, fortifications and cemeteries in medieval Southern Italy increased significantly knowledge and available data on the postclassical material culture, mainly on pottery handiworks. In the present contribution, a number of results of studies focused on pottery are reported. Such studies allowed us to throw light upon production methods and technologies and to start a classification of types and decorations of handiworks from Late Antiquity to Middle and early Modern Age.File in questo prodotto:
