Abstract
The problems of diversity, present in classes of every order and degree, require changes not only in teaching methods and tools for transmitting knowledge, but also in the qualification of spaces for learning. The latest regulatory requirements of the "New guidelines for school construction", published by MIUR in 2013, are complemented by new design criteria that rethink the school spaces according to the needs of a niche of students with specific pathologies, so that the school can be maximally inclusive. The circular n ° 08 March 6, 2013, introducing the Index for Inclusion, it is an additional tool to support the designer who must incorporate the demands of the needs of users with disabilities or with evolutive disorders and transform them into architectural and technological solutions that qualify the functionality of the relationship between space and learning. Below we describe the main technical elements and furniture that can create discomfort within the school environment, design point reinterpreted in terms of "Special Needs”: flexible space, specific function, space for sensory and emotional room.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
