The paper focuses on the diagnostic acquisitions that can be performed on the surface of buildings, in order to develop a protocol for non-invasive, fast, and cheap diagnostic activities. In particular, it was investigated the relationship and the integration between the 3D laser scanner data and the photographic, colorimetric and thermal imaging ones. This experiment was tested on a section of the medieval city walls of Pisa.
