Conserving to innovate: the intangible project of Se.R.F. Center

"The Intangibile Project of the Se.R.F University Center (Services, Research and Training) proposed by the Benecon S.C.a.R.L. Center in partnership with Se.Co. (Engineering advice and services) is a part of a wider program of enhancement of the socio-economic, cultural and environmental heritage of Roccamonfina Municipality (Province of Caserta). The project is to make an Excellence Center, organized in three sections, each one with specific missions and responsibilities. All the three are part of a singular and complex offer of professionalism to territory: a real Technology Platform. The opportunity to improve this initiative is conceptually linked to the study and enhancement of (not only) the chestnut wood in regard to its use\/reuse in the construction filed, in particular in relation to the connected use, for production of materials and components oriented to building energy efficiency.. The building complex in Cese Street (Roccamonfina) will be the head office of the Se.R.F Center: an architectural valuable system of which requalification represents the opportunity to design a Building Demonstrator of eco-compatible technologies in harmony with conservation of architectural - historical characters both of Good and of its context of historic minor centre. The main intend is to propose comprehensible examples about how to construct, at a widespread building scale, integrated system of energy production in site as well as strategies of energetic saving compatible with peculiarities’ conservation of historic minor centers."
