The medical field of interest of the prosed GPS-based technology is the "Golden Hour" of a trauma, i.e., the period of time in which rapid diagnosis and effective treatment allow the best chance of survival for a critically ill patient (car accidents, prodromal events of cardiac arrest, diabetic coma, bleeding or esophageal varices, etc.). The strategies underlying the use of GPS data for timely recovering of critical pathologies have been concretized in two systems, called LIFE (Localization for Immediate Full Emergency) and GNOSIS (GPS Network for Organized Service of Immediate Surgery).

Abstract
The medical field of interest of the prosed GPS-based technology is the "Golden Hour" of a trauma, i.e., the period of time in which rapid diagnosis and effective treatment allow the best chance of survival for a critically ill patient (car accidents, prodromal events of cardiac arrest, diabetic coma, bleeding or esophageal varices, etc.). The strategies underlying the use of GPS data for timely recovering of critical pathologies have been concretized in two systems, called LIFE (Localization for Immediate Full Emergency) and GNOSIS (GPS Network for Organized Service of Immediate Surgery).File in questo prodotto:
