Nine snapshot as incipit to a wider discussion about the meaning of art at the Olivetti, as testimony of a cultural homogeneity and as the recognition of a common matrix between doing business and make culture. The snapshots describe – only in part – the consistency of the different activities of the Olivetti company. Considering, especially, the relationship between art, culture and production. The issue could be extended to the implications and links with the local contexts of relevance, together with the dynamics of the spread of knowledge and cultural promotion through architecture and shop-design, to the print and socio-cultural activities, and to the documentary films. The subject is treated with the exemplification of some cases, such as: Renzo Zorzi and art exhibitions of Olivetti, the magazine «SeleArte» and the critofilm series of the «SeleArte Cinematografica» by Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti; the production of agendas and calendars, the restoration projects, the art at the youth camps.
