A method for the evaluation of a 2D plasma shape in a Tokamak with geometrical 3D asymmetries is presented. The procedure is based on the equivalent currents method and, in order to meet the tight needs of a real time plasma control, a suited GPU architecture is used. The impact on the plasma shape of 3D elements in the vessel geometry is analyzed.

Abstract
