La lettura topologica del complesso mosaico del mondo materiale ed immateriale costituente il Litorale Domitio avviene non solo attraverso gli occhi, ma soprattutto attraverso la mente supportata dalle azioni di discretizzazione e misura ed attraversata dalla conoscenza. Nel territorio domitio rendiamo ‘visibili’ le antiche tracce, portiamo alla luce le emergenze architettoniche, archeologiche, naturali, tutti gli eventi che partecipano al progetto di sviluppo sostenibile di questo territorio. La misura del frammento di costa mediterranea si configura come re-istituzione dei caratteri ereditari che ne compongono il DNA, ovvero l’identità. L’attività di rilievo consente di registrare le informazioni e di re-istituire il patrimonio genetico dell’organismo indagato con gli strumenti pratici del disegno. Il destino delle città deve venir fuori dal linguaggio, dalle risorse, dai bisogni e dalla vocazione del luogo, ripercorrendo le tracce del passato da comparare con i segni del presente, al fine di definire una realtà territoriale rassicurante perché fondata sulla sua identità.
