Incremento dei livelli di sensibilità nell’analisi di addotti emoglobinici mediante digestione selettiva con calpaina

Biological monitoring of subjects exposed to carcinogen agents can be efficiently realized trough the quantification of the hemoglobin adducts. This procedure requires the development of selectively purification methods of the alkylated hemoglobin fraction in order to achieve high accuracy. To this end, in the present paper a digestion with calpain has been realized, preliminary results showed a different reactivity of the enzyme with respect to normal and alkylated hemoglobin: normal fraction was digested only, with a consequent concentration of the alkylated one
