The cyclophosphamide is one of the most used antineoplastic agents in therapy and the evaluation of occupational exposition requires the dosage of the drug in complex matrixes. An internal standard is necessary for quantitative analysis in order to get analytical results independent from any errors of the processing phases. This study shows the synthesis and characterization of mono and di-iodiocyclophosphamide, suggested as optimal internal standards. The results show that both the molecules have the same instrumental behaviour of the analyte. Therefore, monoiodade is particularly suitable for an LC/MS analysis, while diiodide in GC/MS one.

Abstract
The cyclophosphamide is one of the most used antineoplastic agents in therapy and the evaluation of occupational exposition requires the dosage of the drug in complex matrixes. An internal standard is necessary for quantitative analysis in order to get analytical results independent from any errors of the processing phases. This study shows the synthesis and characterization of mono and di-iodiocyclophosphamide, suggested as optimal internal standards. The results show that both the molecules have the same instrumental behaviour of the analyte. Therefore, monoiodade is particularly suitable for an LC/MS analysis, while diiodide in GC/MS one.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
