Three novel phenylpropanoid glucosides have been isolated from a methanolic extract of Myriophyllum verticillatum and their structures defined by spectroscopic methods and chemical degradations. The biological activity of these compounds on the cyanobacterium Synechococcus leopoliensis has been investigated. © 1992.
